Customer Reviews
Fans beware: Same old, same old!
I have been an appreciative Christine Feehan fan for years, and I am sorry to say that this latest book really disappointed me. Frankly, it was a waste of my hard-earned teaching salary, and I wish that I hadn't downloaded it. The "Dark" series has always followed a well-established formula, but this book was so uninspired and predictable that I felt like I have previously read it half a dozen times! Christine Feehan clearly wrote it on auto-pilot, and by doing so, she took advantage of her loyal readers. The ending was especially lackluster and forgettable. At the very least, we should have been introduced to Joie's parents, who were foreshadowed to be a Mage and a were cat. Think twice before you buy this book--it leaves you unfulfilled.
have to agree
I own every book this author has written. I can't wait for the new ones to come out. I guess she has run out of ideas for new carpathians?. I'm so disappointed. I have to agree, nothing even a little new.
Feel cheated.
Already bought both books. Showed new book with new copy write date. Not fair.
