Excellent read
I have read this book many times and always found it wonderful. I will say, it’s not a very easy read in terms of some of the subjects it tackles, but one that I feel like everyone should. Very real, this book doesn’t pull any punches for the reader. All around one of my top 5 favorites.

Honestly, this book is great, and is read by seventh graders attending schools mostly in a California. If you do not know about Shaker religion it'd be best for you to look it up on wiki and get a little background knowledge before reading this book... Point is, I recommend it to anyone especially in America since it'll make you think different on lots of things.
Awful
I felt the book would go on forever! This was a bad work of literature in my opinion. But if you're into farm boys being friends with a pig go ahead and read it.
