Singing of the Dead
This was a lot of fun and very engaging book and it was very hard to put down. I would be ready to go somewhere and found myself not ready to go because I could not put it down. The plot inside the plot just kept getting more and more fun. A great read, just make sure you have the time.
Not As Good As Usual
Once again, Ms. Stabenow's characters and their development are really good. Ditto, the plot. However, I think that she overdoes the stylistic device of historical flashback. Good idea but a little overdone, in my opinion.
Yawn!
Boooooooorrrrrrrrriiiiiinnnnggggg! No action, no moving the story forward, just pages of info dumps.
