Empathy…
PK is in love with his former roommate, Art, when the book begins. Everything he does to get into trouble with Art is intended to let Art know how much he loves him. Art returns to PK in the rain… and PK gladly takes Art in. PK’s novel is something that just pours out of PK in an attempt to sorta confess his feelings to Art… but the whole thing blows up in everyone’s face… PK’s situation is definitely an expression of love… Every thing Art faults his former boyfriend for, PK makes it better with him. The most amazing thing about the whole situation is how much love is felt and expressed without sex. Yet, the reader can’t possibly not feel the tensions and the real attraction between these guys. If you’re looking for a thinly veiled literary porn book, this one is not for you. But, if you want to read a truly charming love story, dive in with PK and Art!!
