Publisher Description
#1 New York Times bestselling author Linda Lael Miller brings you reader-favorite Mojo Sheepshanks, the irreverent P.I. who finds truth in the strangest places—and solves crimes in the strangest ways…
Mojo is trying to enjoy her lovely new home, courtesy of her wealthy sister, Greer, but she'd rather be back in her apartment over Bad-Ass Bert's Biker Saloon in Cave Creek, Arizona. Life was a lot simpler then. Now her sexy cop boyfriend can't seem to let go of his past, while her sister's being blackmailed for secrets in hers. And Mojo's stuck in the middle again.
Then there's the ghost who comes to her for help…and the threats being made against the still-living. As the murders pile up, Mojo's starting to discover secrets that even the dead don't want disturbed!
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Miller's got major storytelling mojo for the second adventure set in Cave Creek, Ariz. (after Deadly Gamble) starring Mary Josephine Mayhugh "aka Mojo Sheepshanks. A very green PI who blithely accepts her ability to talk to ghosts, Mojo is determined to help them resolve the issues that keep them hanging around and isn't above asking for their assistance in solving cases involving live people. When seven-year-old deaf-mute Gillian Pellaway is strangled leaving a ballet lesson with her stepdad, the latter is accused of the crime, and Gillian appears to ask Mojo for assistance. Then Alex, the cheating husband of Mojo's adopted sister, Greer Pennington, is brutally murdered, and Greer becomes a prime suspect. Tucker Darroch, a homicide cop who's crazy about Mojo, provides moral support for these parallel cases, and intriguing plot twists involving Greer's past and other ghosts keep the story tight, funny, sexy and cool. Miller makes Mojo much more than another cute, quirky crime solver who sees dead people.

Next book...
Wish you would get around to writing the next book in this series one of these days or years.
But sad that you that you've renamed the series. Covers of the new books with new titles look like a guy is the main character, not Mojo. Sad. She's a great character.
