Somewhere Between 3 & 4 Stars

Not what I was expecting. This is really more two separate stories that are only linked by the fact the MC of each story is the twin of the other and thinks of the other in her individual story. Aoife’s story is longer than Scatty. They each decide independently they want to talk to each other and make up.

The stories seem to take place before the main series, but I’m not entirely sure, seeing that they meet in the main series and aren’t in a making up mood. These stories are a bit confusing in that respect.

Scatty is my favourite character from this series, so this was a little bit of a let down. I enjoyed reading it, but it really just left me confused. Was this supposed to be what the two of them were doing at the same time, in different shadow realms?

It was great getting to read more about Aoife and see her from her own perspective instead of just through Scatty’s POV. Maybe the problem is me. I don’t know.
