PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
A spate of suicide bombings in commercial areas of Austin, Tex., engages FBI agent Dutch Rivers, the fianc of psychic consultant Abby Cooper, in Laurie's lighthearted 11th Psychic Eye mystery (after 2012's Lethal Outlook). With a mix of charm and bluster, Abby inveigles her way into working on the case so she can foresee and protect Dutch from any harm that might come to him. As tension builds, the bomb threats and the couple's upcoming wedding are equally stressful to Abby; she must deal with her type-A sister, Cat, who's planning an extravagant "Cirque du Ceremony" whether Abby likes it or not. While Abby's inner monologue is always entertaining, Abby and Dutch's inane squabbles make them poor coworkers and a vapid couple. Still, the plot moves at such a quick clip that readers needn't read too deeply into the convenient timing of Abby's psychic vibes.

incredible!
I was completely blown away by this book. I've been a Victoria Laurie fan for years & have read everything she has out to date. This book was the best by far! Anxious to see the next ghost hunter mystery that releases this winter! deadly forecast is a must read & I hope you enjoy it as I have.
Disappointed
The more books I read in this series the more disappointed I am. Not only has she little by little emasculated Dutch, but made the FBI a laughing stock for all. To make us want to believe the director of the FBI would follow her every whim, or that she, with no training, can protect Dutch better than other agents if something were to happen is laughable. Dutch and Brice are trained FBI agents. She is the one that has fallen into more trouble in the past by not listening to her intuition. I say bring the men back, give them back their masculinity and dial back on the demands. Abby has now become a character that is demanding, whiny, and not liked by many readers
Couldn't put it down!
I loved this book and read it in just about a day; I couldn't put it down. There are moments where you are waiting for the girls to put two and two together, but overall, an exciting read!
