Absolutely amazing listen that left me quite enthralled afterwards. I’m definitely adding a hard copy of her memoir to my library. That she wrote this some 4 centuries ago makes it all the more amazing as some of the spiritual manna presented to us through her own words is still just as vibrant and relevant today as it was when she first took a quill to paper. Reluctant though she may have been in doing this we are all fortunate she did. Concise and engaging and clearly contending with a lot of the patriarchal politics that still exist to this day Saint Teresa manages to exalt and transform by merely honestly relating her own spiritual journey. I recommend this memoir to anyone in search of understanding their own. Humble but charismatic writing! We’re lucky to have her work here with us. Shine On! I’m off to listen to more
