This book was amazing to read, I got it as an assignment. However, I felt like “Notes From The Midnight Driver” was well deserving of my free time. I found myself coming back to this book, and I was more than satisfied when it came to an end. However, nothing is perfect, as I feel some characters could have used a little more personality, some of them just seemed bland, while some characters have great unique personalities like Sol, the protagonist’s “assignment”, and Laurie, the protagonist’s best friend. But others like mother and father are not really touched on very much in the terms of personality, and play quite a large part in the plot. But the characters that do have uniqueness, I feel a great connection to and feel their emotions and pain. I also think the resolution is sort of strange. I won't spoil anything, but I will say that it fits together with a few minor gaps. However I enjoyed this book all the same, I really do think anyone with an interest in fiction or books in general should give this a good read.
