Publisher Description
We were meant to be seductive. We were designed to lure humans in.
Fortuna Sworn is the last of her kind.
Her brother disappeared two years ago, leaving her with no family or species to speak of. She hides among humans, spending her days working at a bar and her nights searching for him. The bleak pattern goes on and on... until she catches the eye of a powerful faerie.
He makes no attempt to hide that he desires Fortuna. And in exchange for her, he offers something irresistible. So Fortuna reluctantly leaves her safe existence behind to step back into a world of creatures and power.
It soon becomes clear that she may not have bargained with her heart, but her very life.

Perfect weekend read—finished it in a day and already bought the second!
Great story
I really loved this book. Characters and world that is created had me from the start. Fortuna is a strong character that I really enjoyed. Laurie is a feisty great character. And I loved their friendship. Collith had both kindness and hardness. I kept wanting to see where his character could go. Oliver/Ollie had me on edge wondering about him and the dreamscape. Is he good or bad? I read this quickly and couldn’t put it down
Great book
The book was very fun very unique. Not nearly as violent as it could have been, just enough for the Squeamish reader not to be grossed out. I am not that reader. My only issue with the book is the racial crap; first the author depicted the fae as fallen angels, ok great so why then do angels have any specific race or why mention it at all I mean come on a fallen angel screwed a Arab now one of the 1/2 fae wear a burka give me a break. Eye roll, the political correctness and race inclusion is getting ridiculous. I’m surprised there isn’t a Muslim or black leprechaun. A Asian Zeus you get the point. Super annoying.
