Misses the mark
I had no idea about this author nor had any expectations before picking this book up.
Aside from some basic and obvious points, the author goes into endless rants that counterweight the movement at hand with just as myopic and single-threaded concepts from the far Right.
This could have been a great attempt to find logical, common sense middle ground and to ultimately guide critical thinkers across the woke valley without so much “fight fire with fire”, Trumpian bluster as the main strategy.
I think the topic is interesting - life, government, politics and humanity are all too complex to be only parsed from two opposite points of view - both poles pull on each other and make matters worse with time - All while the great majority of reasonable folks in the middle have less and less places to gravitate to.
This book is no different.
