I love this book
This book shows that you can still be your self no matter what size you are and this book is the perfect example of that.
Barton is the new Blume
It is rare to come across a young adult book about a teenage girl that doesn't involve supernatural creatures. Escapism literature has its place but finally here is a book that helps young women with the reality of a weight obsessed society. Barton captures the drama of a sweet sixteen year old girl coming to terms with not just her weight but also it's impact on her family and social life. Ann is a girl we all know or have been or still are. The girl trapped in a department store dressing room tangled up in the fabric of a too-small dress.

I got the hardback copy from barns and noble........and I loved this book sooooo much! I am a twelve year old girl and there is some language in this book but the whole time you are reading this book you will be rooting for Ann! I am very sad the book is over now and I am hoping Kelly barson writes another very soon!!
