BOOK EXCERPT:

"I don't know about you, but I'm tired of sitting in these chairs. Will you join me out on the balcony?" she asked me pleasantly. She nodded to the glass doors that opened out onto the large balcony.
"Sure," I replied. I stood up and started to bring my interview equipment with me.
"Oh, I don't think you'll be needing that," she told me. I stopped and looked over at her, confused. "I think we need a break from the interview."
"Oh. Okay," I said, not sure of what was happening or why. But this was Vanessa Queen, of all people. It's not like I could say "no" to one of the biggest celebrities on the planet.
I followed her through the glass doors and out onto the balcony. We were high above the city and it was a beautiful, sunny day. She ignored the magnificent view and instead crossed over to a hot tub.
"Will you join me?" she asked me as she padded up the steps and stood on the platform that encircled the tub.
"Oh, I didn't bring a swimsuit," I replied. Then I realized how ridiculous that sounded. Vanessa, in the meanwhile, had slipped off her blouse and let it fall to the ground. She wore nothing underneath it. Her tanned skin was flawless.
"That's okay, I think we'll be fine," she told me, looking over her shoulder with a sly smile. "It's just us girls."
