The best he ever had
Great book! Disturbing page turner. Havnt felt the same in a Wal-Mart since.
Great premise, weird way to convey it
Really love the idea of The Store and how it runs, my favorite being the night managers, but felt like the cheap shot sex shock horror hits just kept feeling uncomfortable in a way that really wasn’t what I wanted out of it. Visceral fear and discomfort is what I was excited for and got at times, especially in those night peaks into The Store, but the amount of naked teenagers and various coerced sex/rape scenes really threw it off. Fun commentary on current store giants, and how beast/cult-like they really can be, and it was worth the read for that.
