Mind boggling!
Great book! Very well written. Plot line, world building, character building are impeccable. It will blow you away! If you like movies like, A Beautiful Mind, Identity, Inception or other movies like that you will love this! Can't think of any books to compare this to, you have to read this.
*WARNING* you must be prepared to pay attention! Failure to do so will result in utter confusion. You've been warned! ;)
My Favorite Book of all Time.
The only book that I can read over and over. 🌻
Great Idea, Horrible Execution.
Reading the description for this book, I thought, “Wow! That sounds amazing! Cool idea!” So I downloaded the sample.
If I could say one thing about the book that struck me most more than anything, it was: This book swears a LOT. And it does!
As a writer, I know that it is possible to make a great book without cuss-words in it. Adding them in makes it a much nastier read, and it detracts from what you’re trying to say.
If you want to emphasize a point, don’t just throw in a couple of swearwords. That's stupid and unimaginative. If you’re trying to make a point, use clean, interesting words to create the idea you want to put into the reader’s mind. Vulgarity does not make up for creativity.
Plus, the book isn’t even written well! It’s very vague, swears a lot, and it seems like someone just crammed a bunch of words on a page and sent it off to the publisher. (Seriously, did this writer even have an editor?)
This is a classic case of an idea which is outstanding, imaginative, and captivating, but one which is executed in a way that makes you wonder how the author managed to make the a book with that good of an idea so terrible.
All-in-all, this book is a vulgar, vague, crude, and disgusting waste of time. Please don’t read it.
There are plenty of amazing books out there, but this is most certainly not among them.
