A beginning with a lot of potential
Forewarning: I Kickstarted this, so I was looking forward to it before it even came out.
I just listened to it for a second time, and was just as pleased with it the second time.
It's an introduction, and spends a LOT of time setting the scene. In fact, there's more scene-setting than "real" story.
That aside, there's a ton of potential here. It is well acted, the characters are compelling written and the voice-acting is great.
In fact, the delivery is the best part. The voice acting is absurdly dynamic.
I'm eagerly looking forward to the next bit.
