Publisher Description
A stubborn teen faces off with her brooding, indifferent (but super hot) soulmate in this unique and sexy take on a classic paranormal romance story.
She's met her mate . . . and he's met his match.
Megan Ross has been waiting her whole life for her mate to come and sweep her off her feet. But the wolf she meets on the beach is NOT the sweet gentle boy she's been dreaming of. Instead, he's a warrior, one whose suffering has led him to lock his heart away in a prison as cold and hard as a diamond, who fights to resist the bond and their deep attraction.
Far from home, with a soulmate who is still a stranger, Megan learns that the path to true love isn't quite as straight and easy as she thought . . .
Alyssa Brandon’s debut novel Bound to You is guaranteed to make readers swoon, sigh, and maybe even cry before it's over.

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Too many unanswered questions lead to an uneven debut in Brandon's story of fated love. Eighteen-year-old alpha werewolf Megan Ross is eager to find her mate. To help, her father throws a party and invites numerous packs along the East Coast. When Megan meets James Sandleholm, a warrior alpha from Canada, it is clear that the two of them are destined to form a life bond as mates. Though James immediately brings her home to his pack, he has no intention of fulfilling the bond. His reluctance stems from painful past associations of the toll that his mother's death took on his father (if a warrior alpha loses his mate, he begins to lose his grip on reality). As Megan tries to break through James's armor, she discovers that warrior wolves are dealing with a dangerous threat long thought to be extinct. Brandon presents a promising story of how past pain and future expectations can cloud the present, but inconsistent worldbuilding and development of characters' motivations lessens the story's authenticity and impact. Bound to You
Nice short read, the lead female character is supposedly a strong alpha but is a little pushy and needy (aren’t we all sometimes) lots of self pity and seems like she repeats her thoughts/feelings a lot. That’s it’s only flaw! The character development and background will hit you right in the feelings. Settings are very well described! It’s like your watching a movie as you read. The author does very well with small detail. It’s a classic beauty wins over the damaged brute tale. Love must be patient.
