The techniques in this book are outdated. The “published” date in iBooks is 2018 but the original publication is 1998. This just isn’t taught to polygraph examiners nor interrogators.
HOWEVER, it is a interesting, and quick, read. I do recommend it as there are enough gems to takeaway and be useful. This is why I gave it 4 stars not 2.
NLP (neural linguistic programming) and hypnosis are not in vogue these days, and in my opinion, rightly so. Read into it and draw your own conclusions. Luckily, this book doesn’t deep-dive into either and just sticks to lie detection and elicitation.
