Depressing

Hold you down review
This reader is absolutely terrible. Not a voice actor at all. But more like someone who should read fairytales to second graders. Definitely not the voice you’d want to hear read a hood tragedy. Not to mention that all of her voices sound the same.

The 9 and 10 year old children’s voices sounded like they were three and four year old toddlers. Which ever two characters were conversing at any given time suddenly had the same voice, so it was difficult to follow the conversation. Her voice of Bennit was probably the most ridiculous of all. He sounded like she was trying to go for a cheap impersonation of a wiseguy, much less a real black gangster.

Also It would’ve been good for her not to record on the days when she was severely congested… it was just horrible.

OK enough of the story, if you’re looking to be severely depressed, this is a book for you. There are no real wins in the story. As we anticipated something
Good or bad happening, BAD always did. Just a very depressing book. Other than all the terrible misfortunes of the main characters in the story it was pretty boring…
