Publisher Description
The Atlas Paradox is the long-awaited sequel to Olivie Blake's New York Times bestselling dark academic sensation The Atlas Six—guaranteed to have even more yearning, backstabbing, betrayal, and chaos.
Six magicians were presented with the opportunity of a lifetime.
Five are now members of the Society.
Two paths lay before them.
All must pick a side.
Alliances will be tested, hearts will be broken, and The Society of Alexandrians will be revealed for what it is: a secret society with raw, world-changing power, headed by a man whose plans to change life as we know it are already under way.
"The Atlas Six introduced six of the most devious, talented, and flawed characters to ever find themselves in a magical library, and then sets them against one another in a series of stunning betrayals and reversals. As much a delicious contest of wit, will, and passion as it is of magic...half mystery, half puzzle, and wholly a delight."—New York Times bestselling author Holly Black

Like a dirt road
This book has everything that can be wanted but is rough in some spots like a dirt road. Interesting and the characters are good. There is a plot that while sometimes twists and turns, is a logical and coherent plot. I enjoyed the audio book with the different narrators. Overall a solid book and an easy choice to listen to.
would rather just read the book
It’s a little slower than book one, and I understand that Parisa is intended to be seductive and seemingly aloof but it was so hard to listen to her chapters. The vocal fry and pace of her narrator was challenging to listen to.
More of the same
If you liked the first book you'll like this one. But it suffers from the same issue: thin character development. This audiobook has the same voice actors as the first one, so if you like their way of voicing characters then you'll appreciate that this book is more of the same. Personally I barely made it through book 1 and only made it through 1/4 of this one before putting it down for good.
