Publisher Description

The #1 New York Times bestselling series is hotter than ever, and this thrilling conclusion to the Lost Continent Prophecy arc is a must-read!
With talons united...

Luna has always wanted to change the world -- to fix it, to free it -- even if she’s never actually known how. Now that all of dragon - and humankind are in mortal danger, Luna is flying back home to Pantala with a team of dragons on a rescue mission, determined to be brave and useful.

But saving a continent isn’t as easy as a prophecy makes it sound, and "facing a great evil" definitely requires more than the fiery silk that Luna is uniquely able to create.

As she fights her way to the abyss that hides the dark roots poisoning Pantala, Luna must uncover a long-buried secret and unite her friends, her enemies, and her own powers. If she doesn’t, she won’t get to change the world. She’ll have to say goodbye to it -- forever.

Fantribe! (Please don’t steal)

Name: SnakeWings

Royalty: Queen Diamondback and King Cobra, Princess Python, 2 unhatched eggs

Abilities: They can unhinge their jaw to swallow prey over twice their size. They have long sharp fangs that contain venom. They have full control of how much venom they release when biting, they can also choose to not release venom at all. Depending on the amount of venom, the venom either completely paralyzes the victim in a matter of seconds, or the venom stops their heart and kills them. They have the same venom in their claws. The only antidote to the venom is a very specific anti-venom. To heal the victim you need to extract the venom of the dragon that bit them or a close relative of the biter. The anti-venom will not work if the venom is that of a distant relative. The venom needs to be mixed in with other substances to be used as a cure. If a SnakeWing bites their distant relative with venom it will have an effect but it won’t be as strong than if they bit someone unrelated. If they bite a close relative it has no effect at all. They can use their forked tongues to pick up scents in the air. They have prehensile tails. They can breathe fire but their fire gets weaker the colder they are and if it is below 18 degrees Fahrenheit they can not breathe fire. Contrary to the previous thing their fire gets hotter the warmer they are. They are one of the few tribes that can see very far like SkyWings and IceWings. Their sense of smell is also very good due to their forked tongues. Their flying speed is similar to that of a SkyWing’s but they fly slightly slower. However, they are one of the most agile fliers because of the many trees in their environment they need to be able to maneuver around with ease. They are ambush hunters so they are able to slow their breathing and stay as still as a statue when they hunt. Their scales are tough but at the same time smooth and pebbly.

Appearance: They have very intricate scale patterns that differ in every individual. Their colors vary from red, orange, brown, green, yellow, and very rarely blue. These colors are never neon, but paler and more natural. Blue is the rarest color and is often mixed in with other scale colors. It is common for colors to be mixed in with each other like brown and red and green and yellow. Their scale color often depends on where they were hatched. If they were hatched near lush green plants they were more likely to have green or yellow-ish scales. If they hatched near the ground, dirt or mud, they most likely had brown- red - orange scales. I think you get the point. Their scale patterns are so intricate that you can see the shape of every scale. They are considered a beautiful, but intimidating tribe. All SnakeWings regardless of gender have a hood on their head and neck similar to a cobra’s. They aren’t very noticeable most of the time but when they are irritated, threatened, or angry they flare those hoods. They are tall like SkyWings. They are usually slim with muscular limbs, especially their forearms. Their horns vary from every individual. They can be twisted, straight, large, small. It depends on genes. The color of their scales may change as they age, but the change in color is not major. Their fangs sometimes stick out of their mouths and are visible, but this isn’t very common and depends on genes. Their sclera (the white part of your eye) and their iris (the part of your eye thats colored and is right next to your pupil) can be different colors but their pupil is always black. Their eyes can be any color except for completely black or completely white. Their pupil is a thin slit. Their wingspan is above average but smaller than a SkyWing’s.

Habitat: The SnakeWing kingdom is located in the rainforest, where it is humid and warm.

Naming: Dragonets are named after different snake species, or things related to snakes.

Thank you for reading!

(P.s. look in the review section of book 11 for more info on the tribe, pretty please I worked really hard on it?)

Edit: Shimmer, thanks so much for making an oc based off of my tribe! If you don’t mind I would like to keep it since it’s so cute ^^

Edit 2: Tysm Amathist the GemWing for making your own oc with my fantribe C: Rainbow is really cool and I appreciate it! If you would like I could use your oc in the story I’m making about Snakewings! I’ve been working on the first chapter so I will tell you guys when it’s so done :D
