Really quick and easy read...!! Good book!!
Midnight in Death
This book follows the general plot outline of the others with Lt. Eve Dallas getting into the mind of the suspect, and with her husband, Roarke's, help this time going for the take down. It involves all kinds of futuristic computers, transport, etc. There, of course, are steamy sex scenes - all part of the "in Death" series. I would have rated it a little higher, but having read two previous "in Death" books, I felt it was just more of the same with only the name of the criminal changed. However, this "perp" did have a few, new, and unsavory twist to his personality.
Cheated Lynn-Clarke
I started reading Midnight in Death & early in the first chapter “Midnight” changed to “Naked in Death”. That’s right a completely different novel. I never found out how Dallas met her husband Roarke, how their relationship blossomed, nothing because the novel never returned to narrative, the crime, the Eve Dallas who was single and who had never met her future husband which was the one I purchased. Sure it was only $2.99 but I deserved at least a moderately entertaining novel. I am truly disappointed.
