Quirky Storyline Works!
Kylie Scott interjects her sense of humor effortlessly as part of each character’s personality, which makes for laugh out loud moments throughout..
Story takes place within a short timeline -starting with an silent alarm bell ringing instant attraction and then quick elevation to something more. The author expertly guides it, however so the reader is never left to fill in the gaps on how it plays out.
The author is particularly gifted throughout this - as well as her Stage Dive series - at delivering storylines that have a welcome lightheartedness, while at the same giving the reader a lot of great, well- defined characters and plot twists.
...and, of course, knights in shiny armor....
Loved this book!
This my second book by this author and I feel a reading binge coming on! Great humor, loved the chemistry between all of the characters and the story flowed so well that I couldn't put it down! I can't wait to read the next book!
