The Politician
It takes a great deal of courage to write a book that reveals the truth about wealthy and powerful people. I found Andrew Young's story riveting and moving. It sheds a critical perspective on the Edwards story, and what is tragically common in many political circles. I hope it provides the validation and financial support the Young's will need to move on with their lives in a positive manner.
While many have questioned the Young's decision to support and perpetuate John and Elizabeth Edwards deception, they are loyal and trusting people who put the Edward's well-being first and foremost. In the end, the Edwards' behavior itself, speaks volumes of their character and this book provides much needed details in the drama that the public should have access to.
A Great Inside View of American Politics
It was hard to put the book down. I always thought that power and money is what drives our political system. And this book certainly added to the confirmation.
There were no winners in this book. And I am amazed with all the "stuff" that Andrew Young put up with for so long without recognizing some of the base values in family and life.
