See AllA deep yet breezy masterpiece
There is more beauty in this short novel than many fantasy authors can manage in series that span thousands of pages. Le Guin’s writing is pure poetry, and these pages are packed with profound truths about the acceptance of death, the nature of power, and the pitiable darkness of mankind. And yet, even when these stark themes take center stage, this is still a world of whimsy and majesty, where bleakness is somehow lovely and hope is never far.
Timeless
The third installment of the original trilogy. One of the best fantasy trilogies ever written.
A Feast of Words
As always, LeGuin quenches the thirst of those who yearn for a good story. Despite its slow beginning, the pace quickly picked up with Le Guin's deft hand to illustrate dragons and the mystic world.
