I love this book. It’s been with me a long time I have read it many times. It makes me cry at points and full of joy and is there when I need to fill my heart. R. Pilcher my favorite author always
Epic!
This is by far my favorite book ever. A masterpiece of first person history of WWII, intertwined with stories of romance, family and deep seated roots. Hated for it to end!
I need more stars
Rosamunde Pilcher's books are so beautifully written that I immerse myself into her characters as well as the stories. I must have read this one at least three times.
