Publisher Description

The first book in a new series by the author of The Frog Princess, a delightful re-imagining of Sleeping Beauty.

Princess Annie is frustratingly (and luckily) resistant to magic. When her sister Gwen pricks her finger and the whole castle falls asleep, only Annie stays awake. Now it's up to Annie to find a prince to kiss her sister and break the spell. But who is her sister's true love? And what about Annie's own happily-ever-after? Annie travels through a fairy tale land filled with characters both familiar and new in this original adventure from the beloved author of The Tales of the Frog Princess.

LOVE this book so much. A clever twist on tons of different fairy tales, including: Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, the Princess and the Pea, Rapunzel, the Princess and the Frog, and Hansel and Gretel. Definitely recommend this book!! The only thing I don’t like is how the author changed the names. Like how Sleeping Beauty, or Aurora, is now Gwendolyn, and Hansel and Gretel are now Tomas and Clara. But other than kind of wishing the names were the same as the original fairy tales, I cannot get enough of this book. 💯 10 out of 10! I am now reading the second book. This is a mix of romance, adventure, and some mystery. Thank you for writing this book E. D. Baker!!!!!

My teacher recommended it to me in 5th grade, and it was love at first page! We are both HUGE bookworms and love this book.I would recommend reading it! It’s romantic, mysterious, very funny, and also adds a little touch of humorous fright! All that to say, read this book! It’s the best!
