Interesting overview of medieval France
Very interesting and informative look at life in France during the Middle Ages. The title is misleading, given the fact that it only covers the Middle Ages in France and not throughout Europe, but the book is enjoyable and educationally valuable. I would have liked more detail on the various topics covered - and better editing (numerous spelling and grammatical errors) - but I'm glad I read it.
life in the Middle Ages
the intro says that period was the 5 th thru the 15 th century, I assumed the period was around 12th- 15 th centuries.
The book wanders a bit,no structure to it. Moreover most of it shows dates in 14-15th centuries, and I would say it deals 85% withFrance, and particularly Paris, one of the biggest cities of its time. Thus life for average citizen, living in a smaller town,is not illuminated.
all in all worth about $1.99, like mostBookbub titles
