Loved every page
One of my favorite novels ever. The voice and writing are on point. Ten out of ten, no notes. I had never heard of this author and bought it on sale. I discovered it’s one of those books with a marketing Catch 22. I told some friends about it. When they read the blurb they said “Nah, I’m good,” because the blurb leaves a crucial aspect out. To reveal this aspect would ruin the thrill of the book for a certain demographic, of which I am a part. To get anyone to read it I would have to tell them why they would love it. But to tell them why would rob them of the thrill.
