She’s not only scary smart—she’s a dangerous sociopath set on getting her own way, and she takes great pleasure in the havoc she causes. Their parents either don’t see her for what she is or choose not to. We were absolutely gripped by Rosa’s eerie behavior (her habit of silently watching her family members sleep is about the least disturbing thing she does, but we don’t want to spoil any of the creepiness), and Che’s wrenching emotional plight gives the book real depth. I loved the book and the romance on the side. But I didn’t really like the ending. They just get sent back???? No way.
Great book
I would read more by this author. Although, if this became a series, not sure I could continue. 😬 I mean, it was good, but terrifying to know people like Rosa actually exist.
My Sister Rosa
Fantastic, edge of the seat, nail biting, frightening book. A little dissatisfied with the ending, but probably more realistic than I would like. Actually, I didn't want it to end at all.
