2018 was a hard year for many people, myself included but it was also a year of discovery. I discovered many things about myself, my spirituality and have continued working on my higher education. Part of those discoveries was Athena Perkins PhD, aka: Sage Goddess. I just stumbled onto the website, looking for crystals after a local shop closed. I was skeptical about purchasing crystals online, as I had heard horror stories from other people making purchases online. However, I couldn’t be happier, every piece I’ve purchased has amazing energy, but SageGoddess is a community as well, a tribe of wonderful people. This community has so many helpful articles and so much divine information and inspiration.
This book follows the same pattern. It’s simply written, cutting right to the matter at hand, the Chakras. Explorations are easily to follow, but as any book written for the Chakras, it requires the reader to take time, make reflects and to do work. Athena Perkins’ writing style is easily understood for both novice and expert. I do have one note of caution, Chakra work is deeply personal and as such, might be difficult emotionally... keep going and don’t give up! The end result is well worth the time spend.
