Getting more intriguing
The romance is very slow burn but it’s amazing. The overarching plot is also getting more intriguing by the chapter!
My favorite of the series
Got this book from the LA library as my first mxtx book and for good too. Some people deem the 2nd book aimless and just filler but it’s my favorite of the series cause of its charm and delight. It’s not as heavy as the latter entries and filled with supernatural charm and romantic fluff.
It’s basically a Scooby doo style mystery involving cultivation politics with of course cute romance, the traveling comedy show of Wei wuxain and the juniors and lots of gore. It’s one of the most fun I’ve had reading and is sure to delight all who pick it up.
