Publisher Description

“Take my word for it, James Reece is one rowdy motherf***er. Get ready!” —Chris Pratt, star of the #1 Amazon Prime series The Terminal List

The #1 New York Times bestselling Terminal List series continues as James Reece embarks on a global journey of vengeance.

A woman boards a plane in the African country of Burkina Faso having just completed a targeted assassination for the state of Israel. Two minutes later, her plane is blown out of the sky.

Over 6,000 miles away, former Navy SEAL James Reece watches the names and pictures of the victims on cable news. One face triggers a distant memory of a Mossad operative attached to the CIA years earlier in Iraq—a woman with ties to the intelligence services of two nations…a woman Reece thought he would never see again.

Reece enlists friends new and old across the globe to track down her killer, unaware that he may be walking into a deadly trap.

Vengeance at it’s finest.

Jack Carr continue to pull at our heart strings.

Not so good

In this one, Carr has the President ask Reese to take a cabinet position over a Super-Secret all knowing, sentient AI quantum computer, named Alice…impossibly all informed, that no one can approach with anything, that knows all on Earth through any IOT device…. Sounds nice, if Alice is on our side, but what if she turns? I was thinking the President assigned Reese this so that Reese would realize Alice was a danger, asking him to shut her down, knowing he couldn’t say anything openly, believing Reese would know the appointment false because Reese is not a computer scientist and excels, instead, at killing things. Reese would have to plan for and execute Alice without anything being telegraphed on she device world wide. But instead, Alice says she likes Reese, and all I see in the book is Reese killing people while the narrative highlights brand names of gadgets. I’m disappointed the book was this shallow.
