Saving Caravaggio

I found this novel to be extremely disappointing. The beginning promised much but it developed into self-indulgent nonsense. The title beguiled art enthusiasts into thinking that there would be artistic content but I found it unpleasant and ,ultimately, pointless.Or perhaps it was a work of genius, which I failed to appreciate.
