Publisher Description
Lauren's pony Twilight changes into a unicorn when she whispers the magic words, but Lauren must keep this a secret or it could put Twilight in great danger. Lauren's friend, Mel, is teased by girls at school because her pony Shadow can't jump. Shadow is afraid, so Lauren and Twilight visit him secretly and use Twilight's unicorn magic to give Shadow the confidence to begin to overcome his fear. One night a powerful storm leaves Mel and Shadow trapped in a barn by a burning branch. Shadow is scared and can't jump, but then he remembers Twilight's help and is filled with bravery. With a magnificent jump, he soars over the burning branch carrying Mel to safety.

Brilliant
I am 7. Me and my mum read through this book together at bedtime. At first I found some of the words hard (like whickered) but I learned them after a couple of times. I think that it's good that Mel and Lauren have good times in the story, it's made me want a pony! And I will use the words to turn the pony into a unicorn! I thought it was sad in some bits, in some bits cheerful and some bits exciting. I bought more books with my pocket money because I want to find out what the other stories are like. Sometimes I can get the hang of reading and if I am tired mummy reads more. It has made me a better reader and the long words that are difficult I can sound out. I like the pictures and I close my eyes and imagine what's happening, even when mummy has gone downstairs.

I begged my dad to buy me this book and he gave in and got it me and I must say it is very good. I read this book in 1to 2 hours in one night my dad was shocked and said he is not buy ing another in 2 months coz I read it so quickly you need to get it it paints a picture in your head as if you are there. GET THIS BOOK NOW I DEMAND YOU!!!!!!!!! WOWZA
