Army Ranger John Holliday has made it his life's mission to unlock the secrets of the ruthless, ancient Templar Order, who are as renowned for their hidden wealth and power as for their desperate secrecy.

On the trail of the relics are the Vatican Secret Service, the CIA and an arcane brotherhood of Templar descendants who know just how much power the Ark holds.
And they'll kill anyone in their way . . .
The Templar Throne by Paul Christopher is the third instalment in the historical thriller series following John Holliday on his quest to uncover the secrets of the ancient Templar Order. Subsequent titles include The Templar Conspiracy, Lost City of the Templars and Valley of the Templars.

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
In the third installment (after 2010 s The Templar Cross) of this bestselling international thriller series, John Doc Holliday, an army ranger turned medieval historian, teams up with Sister Meg, a beautiful nun, to find a sacred relic. In a plot driven entirely by increasing danger to the protagonists, Doc and Sister Meg dodge spies from the Vatican, the U.S. government, and an ancient brotherhood known as Rex Deus as they trot about Europe researching the life story of a 14th-century Templar for hints to the relic s whereabouts. Repeated jibes at that silly Da Vinci book do little to mask how much this story resembles it, but Brown s readers will be just as happy with Christopher s compilation of gunfights, narrow escapes, beautiful vistas, conspiracy theories, and intriguing clues in ancient art and architecture.

brilliant book fantastic group of books to read
The Templar throne
Bubblegum I quite liked it but it was let down by weak geography, weak on history. has this writer ever been to Venice? (Trust me i've been there 20 or so times, don't use this as a guide book!
William was Duke of Normandy not King of Normandy( no such title). I hope he did better with Canada.
What's with all the product placement and the dan brown references. Is the guy insecure or is it more product placement?
