One of my regrets . . . Was buying this book!
Such a disappointment after the first few books I'd read by this author. Story line was . . . , Well, frankly, ludicrous! Far too much imagining of turgid, overwritten tosh while the actual tale was utterly implausible, characters weak, predictable and stereotyped and I ended up fast-scrolling through more than half, asking myself whether there was any point in continuing, as the ending could not have been more obvious from the start.
