may be emily henry’s best ! i loved the concept of this book, considering i want to be a writer also, i love that she’s a writer writing about writing and romance? it’s such a weird concept but i love how it works in all her books. every aspect of a perfect novel is in here weaved between january and gus. the perfect melody is sung throughout this book and i have re read multiple times for the serotonin boost and the genuine laughs. i love emily henry and all of her books but this one, is one i will hold close to my heart forever <3

I want to live in this book forever
Have you ever been outside on a hot night where the humidity is almost too much but a light breeze cuts through just in time making it the perfect temperature? That's what reading this book felt like. I have never read a book so perfectly named. I longed to be on the beach breathing in the salt air while falling in love with Gus and January.
This book is so much more than a rom-com. I laughed and I cried and I was utterly transported. It made me so so happy-for-now
