enjoyed the game ..
...enjoyed the story,, gunnar cauthery does a great job with the characters voices in this one,,
must admit I struggled with AC renaissance for the accents he to portray the italian ,, florentine & venetian characters , being a mix of glaswegian yorkshire & jordy ... with the ocassional cockney chucked in
Paid Fanfiction
Although this is quite nice if you thought that Haytham was the best part of AC3 and you wish to know more about him, it is lacking in several aspects: firstly, it is rather short and can easily be completed in a day; secondly, while the background information in his journey to become a Templar is enjoyable, it lacks a sense of drive and seems a little perfunctory; finally, the characters seem a little off - Haytham inserts 'son' into his speech (which is rarely changed for the better) as if he has to remind himself constantly of who Connor is, and Connor is a little less annoyingly but slightly endearingly true to his beliefs - and I doubt that you can ever say that 'the two friends embraced' whilst referring to him and Washington.
While it must have been difficult to write such a story, I still believe that a better job could have been done, even with small things such as grammatical and factual oddities. As such, it's probably not worth the £5 I paid for it, as this is the quality of a reasonably good fanfiction without spelling mistakes. But those are free.
