The bestselling author of summer romance, On the Island, is back with another tantalising and unique love story.
Local police officer Daniel Rush had it all until a tragic accident took away everything he cherished. Then he pulls over Claire Canton.
Claire is at a crossroads in her marriage. Her husband Chris is battling his own demons, retreating to a dark place where no one can reach him, not even Claire.
She's left feeling she has nowhere to turn.
Until she and Daniel run into each other again.
It doesn't take long before Claire and Daniel are in way over their heads and skating close to a line that Claire has sworn she'll never cross . . .

'Beautifully written and desperately romantic' Closer
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Graves follows her runaway self-publishing hit, On the Island, with this mostly forgettable tale of a crumbling suburban marriage. Claire Canton, a freelance graphic designer and mother of two, feels disconnected from her husband, Chris. Their marriage has been on a downslide since he was laid off four years earlier, and the antidepressants he still takes have adversely affected their sex life. Enter Daniel a hot cop who's instantly attracted to Claire. The feeling is mutual and the two begin spending more time together, first under the pretense of Claire redesigning a logo for the police department, and then against Claire's better judgment as friends, inevitably causing Claire to examine her marriage and morals. Romance fans will enjoy the few steamy sex scenes, but may be disappointed by the slow pacing and lack of action elsewhere.
Customer Reviews
Great read
I like all 3 main characters in this book: Claire, Chris, and Daniel. The story is definitely not predictable, for which I loved it. And even though he might not be liked by everyone, Daniel is my favourite.
Great
Good book, not as good as on the island but still good.
Love Tracey's books!
Had me gripped, great book!
