Allow yourself to be transported to the stunning Greek island of Zakynthos in this heart-warming and poignant novel
'A beautiful story of heartbreak and forgiveness' Giovanna Fletcher
With its perfect blue skies, white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, Zakynthos should be a dream.
But for Holly it feels more like a nightmare.
Arriving on the island to clear out a house she's just inherited, Holly has no idea what to expect. And she's certainly not prepared for the family secrets she uncovers inside.
With the help of Aidan, her handsome neighbour, Holly sets out to explore the island, hoping to piece together her own lost story. Yet all too soon real life, including the boyfriend she left behind, threatens to catch up with her.
Holly thinks she's following the secrets of the past . . .
But might it turn out to be a map to her future?
'A brilliantly evocative debut' Paige Toon
'A heart-warming, charming tale of love, family and gorgeous Greece. I adored it' Milly Johnson

Adorable
Absolutely loved this read! So heartwarming and heart wrenching at the same time!! Felt as if I was in Greece with them! A great holiday read! Couldn’t put it down!
This novel is a heart-wrenching, sun-drenched read
As somebody who has lived in Greece and has a deep passion for Greece I love to read books based there, especially when they exude a similar passion for the country which I feel.
My Map of You introduces us to Holly Wright, a woman who after the traumatic life and death of her Mother has become emotionally stunted. She has learned to live by protecting herself from life, by playing the part of being the perfect girlfriend, the perfect friend, and the perfect employee. She ensures all those around her are happy and convinces herself that in turn this makes her happy.
We meet her on the day she receives a letter from Aunt she never knew she had telling her she has been left a house on the Greek island of Zakynthos which doesn’t elicit the excited response I would have expected! Begrudgingly she heads to Greece with the intention of selling the house and this is where the mystery of the island and her family unfolds.
My Map of You is a stunning story and utterly grips your heart from beginning to end. It takes you on an emotional roller-coaster throughout as Holly discovers more and more about her Mother, her Aunt, who her Father is and how her life is tied up with this Greek island.
Her Greek neighbour, Aidan, helps her on her journey, helps her to discover not only her family history but who she is underneath the walls she has built up and helps her to confront her personal fears and the trauma she faced with her Mother.
The way Isabelle Broom has described the island was perfection itself, I have not visited Zakynthos but have travelled through many other islands and could perfectly picture streets, houses, trees, plants, the people, tavernas, and the sea-line. Her descriptions made me homesick for this beautiful country.
This novel is a heart-wrenching, sun-drenched read which is perfect to brighten up a rainy day or to take to the beach on your summer holiday.
Thank you very much to Isabelle Broom and Penguin for the ARC of this beautiful book in return for my honest review.
