______
Losing the love of your life once is tragic. TWICE looks like carelessness . . .
Rachel Walsh is a survivor: she survived rehab and the loss of her greatest love.
These days everything in her life is good - good job, good dog, very good boyfriend. Then Luke - her ex of six years - shows up.
Suddenly she's fragile and falling.
They ended badly and neither can speak of the secret hurt which drove them apart.
But is it fear of what happened? Or what might happen next?

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
In 1995, Marian Keyes wrote the first of her series of novels following the Dublin-based Walsh family. Rachel’s Holiday, the second to be published, has since sold more than 1.5 million copies. With expectations sky high after a 25-year wait, Keyes fans can relax: it’s like recovering addict Rachel and her sisters never went away. Now head counsellor at the Cloisters, the rehabilitation centre she herself was treated at in Rachel’s Holiday, life is plodding gently along for Rachel—until ex-husband Luke shows up and sends her spiralling. As always, there are devastating plotlines nestled in among the laugh-out-loud interactions between the family, from Mammy Walsh arranging her own ‘surprise’ 80th birthday party to sister Claire’s own mid-life crisis. Keyes began writing Again, Rachel in 2019 and chose to keep it set in a refreshingly pre-pandemic world, so falling seamlessly back into step with the family and their periodic ‘emergency summits’ is nothing short of a joy. Thank goodness they’re back.

5 stars all day
I love all of Marian’s books and was worried this wasn’t going to live up to the rest. I haven’t been affected by the issues raised in the book but I cried as if I had. I couldn’t have enjoyed it more- everyone should read it!
Perfect follow up
Amazingly written and I was so happy to catch up with how Rachel got on later in life following Rachel’s Holiday. This book made me laugh and cry!
Fantastic read
I was so great full that this novel has so many pages as I really didn’t want it to finish. It is so easy to resonate with this Irish family and all the different characters that remind of ourselves, friends and family. There is not a page that you want to skip through, every word is there for good reason. A thoroughly enjoyable read that makes you want to read more. I loved it!
