Enjoyable read.
I’ve had this book in my library for a long time and have tried starting it about 3 times. We had no power or signal during a storm so I decided to try again! I’m so glad I did. It was a bit hard for me to grasp the timeline jumps at first but once I finally understood, I finished it in one sitting. I love the unpredictability of it and ended up talking out loud at some points in frustration. This is not a stereotypical love story and it works! I felt connected to all of the characters. The emotions that are portrayed in this book are so detailed and poignant. I also loved reading a romance novel through the eyes of a male character transitioning from adolescence into adulthood. Now that I understand the timeline jumps a bit more, I will be re reading!
