At least that's the plan when Mr Speed sets up his super-cool new Worry Website. Holly, Greg, Natasha and the rest of the class think they've got shedloads of worries. But, as they find out, sometimes the best advice comes from the most unexpected place.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
British author Wilson (The Suitcase Kid; Girls in Tears) offers an uneven but generally appealing collection of highly personal accounts, narrated in turns by various members of Mr. Speed's class. On the "Worry Web Site" created by the teacher, the students anonymously reveal their problems and receive feedback. The inaugural tale, "Holly's Worry," is the longest and among the more memorable. "I think I'm going to get a stepmother," the girl types onto the Web site. "I wish she was wicked." She explains, to readers but not to classmates, that, ever since her depressed mother abandoned the family years before, it has been her job to look after her father and her younger sister. Now her father has fallen in love with her sister's teacher, and Holly wishes she could justify her own intense anger and resentment. In other stories, William complains that he is "useless at everything"; Samantha misses her father, now living with another woman; and wheelchair-bound Natasha, who can talk only with the aid of a speaking machine, confides that she longs to take part in the class concert. In each case, the teacher intervenes to help solve the dilemma with results that vary in credibility. The warmth of the premise and the empathy of the author make up for the gaps in believability; readers will want to imagine themselves under Mr. Speed's tutelage. Ages 8-12.

The Worry Website
It’s a good book. Very descriptive and fun to read. The only problem is the situations could be a bit more realistic and relatable. The only one that I think children could relate to is Greg’s and how he has a crush on a girl.
Another great book by Jacqueline Wilson
This book is yet another absolutely brilliant creation of Jacqueline Wilson's. It can be for a mixture of different readers, from young kids wanting a laugh before they go to bed all the way to adults wanting a tearful read.
The book is basically lots of different stories which are all based on one subject but they branch off into whole new worlds that only J Wills can get to. The base is a website that a mad class teacher sets up called 'The Worry Website' where all the kids in his class can type up their own worries or problems whether they are at home or in school. Some of the worries are hilarious and silly and some are heartbreaking and really make you feel for the child.
All together one of the best J Wills book and a must read...
Thank you and I hope you enjoy the book. Grace (11 years)
… i dont know what 2 say…
Ok. You might if seen my comments on Vicky Angel and My Sister Jodi. All I say is true!! Many people luv Jackies books (including me) and hate them!!! (Including me) I like this book much more than any others because they resolve problems- which is, like, the only Jacqueline Wilson book that does that. But is Jackie depressed or something??? She is spending too much time concentrating on sadness and hopeless love affairs and death and divorces and moving away- but has she realised that every book she writes just adds another worry for other people?? Another problem that COULD happen?? 80% of people who read her books are children- some quite young- and I feel these kind of books could easily be the kind of thing a young child could worry about. But I understand Jackie is probably trying to help people who actually have these problems. How? By letting other people understand how much sorrow and pain it can be. And in COVID as well m. Just stay safe everyone. Even if u absolutely LUV Jackie’s books, pls read this comment and try to understand what im trying to get across. Luv u all and stay safe 🌈
It’s me Bea im gonna be 12 soon btw <3
