Excellent book
I have finished reading the book and it was really nice of Sophie to give away one of her cats to verity and she could pick and she picked baby a very good choice.
Jacqueline got the wonderful idea from her letters

She even got told the names but there are times when pets have to die poor mummy Mabel!
