She and Mau each suffer profound crises of faith, and together they re-establish Mau's nation from other survivors who gradually wash up on shore and rediscover (with guidance from spirits) its remarkable lost heritage. An all inclusive getaway!
This is Terry Pratchett at his best, again, its just one of those fantasy books that if you put it down and closed your eyes, you could just carry on your own little story in your head! The world he describes is amazing and completely disappointed when the journey is over!
