A very captivating story and the illustrations are certainly very helpful to further understand the details and concepts described. However the resolution of te pictures and graphics is extremely poor and should really be improved to facilitate enlargement/ study of the deais in them
Unreadable
By illustrations I imagine etching type images. You get coloured tourist photographs. I personally found it I possible to read. Just as I imagined the scene in my mind a contemporary photo of a building popped up and broke the spell. it just doesnt work. Do people really need photos of buildings in Washington with an explanation of which classical building inspired it....in a novel?

Continues the Robert Langdon saga, creating many thought provoking moments. All Dan Browns books have reawakened my interest in the mysteries, but The Lost Symbol has had me researching further into this fascinating subject.
Lets hope this also becomes a Film too
