Amazing

Absolutely brilliant book but would advise to read the book then play the game or play the game then read the book.

Different but lacklustre

The book (like the game) has a great start and character intros. But it all kind of falls flat by the end with too many plot twists and conveniences. The ending is also super rushed. The game was also, but I expected a better cohesive story from the book.

Decided to spoil the storyline of the game for myself.

Having played the game I was curious to see what the book was like.

The story is good but is somewhat repetitive in places (we need to go here and do this, aww no, now we need to go there and do this!).

I wouldn't say it gripped me throughout but by the end you want to know what is going on. The ending did seem a bit rushed however but did leave you feeling at least partially satisfied.

I would recommend this to fans of the game and anyone of the zombie genre. It's an easy read as well so not too taxing to pick up.
