Publisher Description

It’s a brutal race to the finish line . . .

July 2012: The Games have arrived in London and the stage is set for one of the greatest ever showcases of sporting excellence.

When Sir Denton Marshall, a key member of the London Olympic organising committee, is found brutally murdered, Peter Knight, head of Private London, is called to investigate. Not only was Denton Marshall a valuable client to Private, but he was the fiancé of Knight's mother.

Knight is devastated by Denton's murder, but it soon becomes clear that this is no isolated incident. The killer is targeting the Games itself, and the lives of everyone involved are under threat.

Exactley what I needed

He writes so people like me get excited about books, the private series made me stop playing video games and choose to get lost in a non-stop thrill of adventure through his writing. Thank you so much James

Private Games

I am a huge James Patterson fan but this is far and away the worst book he has written.

Over the top and at times rather unbelievable there are also too many inconsistencies. The sports aspect is also rather poorly thought out with England and not GB being quoted on a number of occasions.

Absolute garbage

I can only think Mr Patterson was skint and needed the royalties. This is by far the worst work of fiction I have ever had the misfortune of reading.
I couldn’t bring myself to read the epilogue it was that bad of an ending
Keep it real James!!!!
