Our heroine Katie (or Cat, as she’s desperate to be known) watches her Instagram-perfect life crumble after her boss callously hands her the sack. Which sounds a bit miserable, right? Instead, Kinsella crafts a typically delicious story about revenge, redemption and finding the true meaning of happiness. My Not So Perfect Life is the sort of book that makes perfect company on a rainy weekend.

A Fun and engaging story
A romance with interesting characters. For anyone who’s lived and worked in London you’ll enjoy this book.
A good solid example of "chick-lit"
It has its moments midway through where I felt the author may have gone a little too far with the plot line and it felt just a bit too unrealistic... However, overall it's a good solid example of "chick-lit"; it somehow draws you in, makes you cringe, glues you to your seat and leaves you with a smile and that feel good feeling!
A great easy going holiday read and a good reminder that life isn't always as it seems.
